SIGH.....

I have lost the count of days,the endless agony of breathlessness.Each day i wake up to go back to sleep,swallowing the reality down in deep.Filling hole after hole after hole.My days are spent in running away
from the wild darkness that eludes my soul..

I used to be EARTH once.Stagnant,everlasting,headstrong.Vanity was my shadow all along
until..until I fell..a fall that changed me from within.I felt its currents grow faster..moving,shifting, everchanging
i was the WATER..

As time passed by I began to swim,unfolding my depths layer by layer.I drank it all up sparing no drop.Dancing to the rhythem here and there,fleeing the forces of outside world.I became free and unpredictable,full of flair.I was the AIR...

Passion driven I closed my eyes to the harsh realities of the world which was hiding,waiting for the ambush.
If only they had killed me in time for now i was the force unheard of,a might mightier than customs and norms.I was air no more....but a mindless heartless selfdestroyer.
I was the FIRE!!

War began,all hell broke lose.Earths and waters and winds attacked from every direction.Their rational minds and logics were an evil spell. But fight they couldnt with the heat.. Love resisted with every beat.
The pain felt was strangely sweet.I burnt everything down including my own heart that broke sending its scent up in  smoke..

Ash to ash,dust to dust,nothing remained but the awful thirst.Thirst of something or perhaps someone no longer there.In anguish my dark soul gasped and sighed over the emptiness my dead heart always denied
I was the VOID...

In this hollowness I reside now,a vacuum of endlessness.
Nothing retained but the memories of olden days
when I was bold
when I wasnt old
when I wasnt cold
when I had my  love to hold...

  5. But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:
    To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
    To know the pain of too much tenderness.
    To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
    And to bleed willingly and joyfully.
    To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;
    To rest at the noon hour and meditate love's ecstasy;
    To return home at eventide with gratitude;
    And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips.

  6. yes...a song of praise for the beloved indeed.your words just caused an overwhelming knowledgeful deep sigh in me.yes no doubt to know the pain of too much tenderness is to know the true identity of God that resides within our heart.to be wounded by our own understanding of love is to realize the extent of peace that dwelled within our soul yet we fail to recognize it until pain is brought onto us.and the chambers of heart and doors of knowledge that open up with every second that heals the past,gives us the everlasting wings of optimism that make us stand tall in front of worldly desires,the worldly trials.so much i want to say 'anonymous' regarding this topic but it demands another article.. THANKYOU for the wonderful words.

  7. the beuty of words is how each soul absorbs the meanings according to its experiences and insight.and best is to absorb quietly and knowingly.comments fall short of matching the effects that such words cause inside us.thankyou

  8. quoting your point " extent of peace that dwelled within our soul and the realisation of which comes after pain is inflicted on us", can't say i agree..
    "When love beckons to you follow him, Though his ways are hard and steep. And when his wings enfold you yield to him, Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you. And when he speaks to you believe in him, Though his voice may shatter your dreams as the north wind lays waste the garden. For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning" : gibran
    love comes with all its shades , whether peaceful or destructive, love is peace, and a lover can only be at peace whilst in love. a lover would embrace all the different moods of the love, as each mood brings to him his love, his peace? ?

  9. ah! what good can the wings do to you when u have lost the will to fly.yes love is beautiful.love overwhelms .love inspires.love does it all until the lover can love no more.for when dreams are shattered and a vaccuum you become,it gets static.it gets peaceful.in that peace the lover resides.in that stoicism,the heart becomes dormant.for it has seen so much that no other worldly thing can ignite its core to generate will to travel the same journey again.a journey that is no longer an unknown path marked with curiosity, or ignite energy to fly again. in that dormant form,the lost lover ironically actually finds his own self,his true own self..insecurities no more persist in the vacuum for its you and you only,no trust issues no dependability,no insecurity, for you realize the true stand for you can only be taken by you because nothing else can love you more than you.and so they say 'TODAY YOU ARE YOUER THAN YOU,ITS TRUER THAN TRUE'. Andthis state of selfconfidence can only be reached if you have travelled the hopelessly irresistable journey called love.

  10. The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds, so if someone's lucky enough to have that what more could they possibly want in life. Love can change a person forever. Perfect love does that to a person is what they say. Changes you, brings out your very best shades. Makes you find your true self. So embrace it? Embrace the person you have become?

  11. yes.love does that all but love of a different kind..love more persistent.love more stable..love not weak and coward .that love you find in God's .that love you get after you realize humans are too weak to carry love for eachother through out life.love you can only get after parting ways from human love.divine love doesnt come so easy.it comes after pain,hopelessness and helplessness of extreme nature.like rumi who found divinity after shams left.souls must part ways for each to recognize where it truly belongs..

  12. i guess 'anonymous' we are talking different kinds of love..love of god and love of fellow human.though both may arise in one heart they are way apart.the love i mentioned in the article is humanly love but the one i am discussing in comments is the more persistent love of God ,the real meaning of life,the pursuit of happiness and the purpose of soul in the world.
